You have no problems right ‘now’. What a unconventional idea. But, if you really think about it, all our problems are either about things that have happened (past) or things we fear will happen (future).
Stop. Think about this and see if its true.
Past things cannot be changed. Any emotion (anger, regret, grief, etc) we put into the past is using up our ‘now’ time. Future things are simply our projection of past things on the screen of the tomorrow. Any emotion (fear, worry, dread, etc) we put into the future is again using up our ‘now’ time.

Pause. See if this is true.
So how do we get to ‘now’? How do we quiet the inner voice constantly reminding us of past things or projecting future things?
The answer is as close as your next breath. Put aside your thoughts and simply take three deep breaths. Follow your breath as it fills your lungs; follow it as you release it.

One. (In, out). Two. (In, out). Three. (In, out).
Did you notice? For the time you were following your breath, you were perfectly present in the ‘now’.
Where was anger? Where was worry or fear? Happiness really is just one breath away.
Namaste.
